GlobalDemo.org was established in 2007 by various individuals who felt that the global democracy movement was in need of an independent platform. GlobalDemo.org was ment to be a social-political-community offering the users a wide range of global democracy related information, the possibility to network and a forum to discuss different models of global democracy.

In 2009 we decided to shift our focus from web based to local activities in real life. We have since not been able to continue the development of the website. Due to problems with the database we even had to replace the original website with this simple wordpress blog.

We are hoping to be able to restart the project in the future!
